The Iridescent Raised beds))

Yes, they do glow in the dark in case you were wondering))). So here's the update on the raised beds....filled with soil, awaiting last frost date and hardening off of tomato plants. Today I will tuck climbing (or tumbling in this case) nasturtium seeds inside, along the perimeter as they like to go in the soil before last frost. This record breaking spring, it's anyone's guess when that will be.

  1. What beautiful raised beds... did you build them yourself? I've been thinking about veg gardening and that certainly would be the way to go!

  2. Thank you Larry for your kind compliment,.. yes we built them ourselves. They are four foot by eight foot and twenty inches deep and they contain about two and one half yards of soil. Each raised bed cost about (Canadian) sixty dollars to build, but they will last a number of years I expect. We braced the inside so the weight of the soil would not bow out the boards.

Thanks very much for following, and again, thank you for your kind compliment on the raised bed. Bren

  3. Very nice! They won't fit in my car, fortunately, or they'd go among the missing...;-)
